Opening Ceremony 24 May
The ceremony started with the COTEC delegates parade with 18 member nations represented.
An article "Never forget Estelle! - American patron saint of Swedish occupational therapy" written by Anders Björnsson (PDF file) had been handed out to all participants in the delegate map.
The 9th COTEC Congress of Occupational Therapy was opened by Susanne Eberstein, First Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament. Susanne Eberstein's Opening Speech (PDF file).
Anu Söderström, president of COTEC, and Inga-Britt Lindström, Congress Co-president, held Welcome Speeches.
Stockholm City Voices sang wonderful songs for us: Never say never, Once in a lifetime, People over the world and Don't rain on my Parade.
At the end of the Cermony, Dr Rokho Kim, WHO, held his Keynote speech on Health and wellbeing through the diversity of occupation for future health development of European countries (PDF file).
